A federal criminal complaint has charged a former Illinois state representative with possession of child pornography.
The U.S. attorney’s office in Chicago accuses Keith Farnham of possessing two videos depicting child pornography on a computer. It was seized from his state office in Elgin last month.
The prosecutor’s statement says the office computer that contained the videos was labeled, “Property of the State of Illinois House of Representatives.” The 66-year-old has not been arrested and no date for an initial court hearing has been set.
