Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers is looking for help figuring out who robbed Illini Bank in Auburn, but local police say they’re already developing leads.
Police Chief Bruce Centko says he thinks the suspect got in a car based on a police dog reaction. The man was wearing a dark hoodie, and is about six feet tall weighing about 180 pounds.
The Auburn Citizen reports this is the first armed robbery in the city in more than 40 years.
