The City of Springfield has set some guidelines for its annual branch pickup.
Public Works says piles of brush must be no larger than ten feet long, three feet high and four feet deep. Any piles too large to fit in the bed of a pickup truck won’t be picked up. Logs and branches cut by commercial contractors won’t be picked up either.
The city will go around once every three to five weeks through November. The city’s website will soon have information about when specific neighborhoods will see pickups.
