State labor relations officials say a settlement between AFSCME and the SIU School of Medicine may be in the works.
A scheduled hearing Thursday was postponed. Both sides entered into talks last week and may have reached an agreement to restore 240 employees to union status.
AFSCME says SIU miscategorized the employees to take them out of the bargaining unit. SIU would not comment on an agreement.
