Calling all Springfield area veterans — the village of Jerome wants you.
“We’ll just march through the village of Jerome and everybody will be back at the village hall for some refreshments,” says Village President Mike Lopez. “We’re going to have a good old fashioned time just gathering people together for the holiday.
Village president Mike Lopez says the parade, started in 1996, kicks off at 9:00 Friday morning at the village hall and there’s still plenty of room for veterans who want to join in. Vets of any age group are encouraged to participate.
