Two Springfield Jimmy John’s stores are among 216 stores nationwide affected by a recent data security breach.

The sandwich company, in a statement, says it learned in late July that credit and debit card data may have been compromised after someone stole login credentials and accessed data systemwide between June 16th and September 5th. The cards affected were those swiped at stores, not those used online.

The Jimmy John’s website says the Springfield stores at 3128 south 6th and 2925 West Iles were affected, the 6th street store between June 16th and August 7th, and the Iles store between July 23rd and August 2nd.
