The man accused of covering up the murder of a Decatur woman by leaving her in a Rochester shed has pleaded not guilty.

Bradley Perkins is charged with concealment of a homicidal death.  Tracy Trimby’s remains were found in July. Sangamon County Assistant State’s Attorney Gray Noll says Perkins’ bond remains at $250,000.

“The defendant waived his right to a preliminary hearing,” Noll says. “It’s just a hearing to determine whether there’s probable cause to move forward.”

Perkins could face other charges as the Illinois State Police conduct its investigation.  Another court date is set for October 20.
