The head of the Secretary of State’s Police department has died.
Brad Demuzio died at his home Sunday afternoon. An autopsy found he died of natural causes but didn’t elaborate further. Police union officials say he likely died of a heart attack.
Demuzio is the son of former state senator and current Carlinville mayor Deanna Demuzio.
