The trial of former Kincaid mayor Doug Thomas has been delayed.
A status hearing for violating an order of protection and possession of an illegal substance was held via a conference call Tuesday and he is now scheduled to appear in court December 9th.
Thomas resigned as mayor after charges were leveled he used city employees to work on his home.
