Here is the John Fulgenzi interview from April 29th

He says ” I looked at the state law, I guess”. Many would concur that it should be more than guess work. Many also would ask if you didn’t think it was a big deal why did you look it up?

He then goes on to say that he would give it up to his wife but seemed hesitant to say the same thing after the meeting on the 19th. In fact after the meeting on the 19th he said NO COMMENT.

He claimed that the first he had heard about it was at orientation.

He claims that at orientation they told him it would be taken care of, then he changed what he said after I questioned him and it wasnt a done deal.

I read to him concerns from people in his ward ON THAT DAY (the 29th of April)  that he couldn’t fully represent them and he answered by saying HE DID KNOW that he could not vote on any liquor matters and he didn’t think it was a big deal. I’d like to point out that these people had concerns long before Dave Varner raised his concerns.

I dont know John Fulgenzi. In my two discussions with him I found him likable although a little standoffish. Maybe it is just because he is unfamiliar with me.  I will say that on April 29th he immediately answered Barbs call and went on the air with us and as you can tell answered every question I asked. I think it is a shame he didn’t answer reporters questions on the evening of the 19th but I wasn’t there so I don’t know what the atmosphere was like. I do know there were a lot of people being somewhat hostile towards the man and the situation and I am not sure that is necessarily how systems get changed.
