The mask mandate in Illinois may have been killed off once and for all.
An administrative rules commission in the legislature, JCAR, has voted against continuing the implementation of Gov Pritzker’s rule, effectively voiding his mandate.
A week ago, Pritzker said he believed it could be just a few weeks before the school mask mandate might be lifted, should COVID-19 hospitalizations and cases continue to trend in the right direction.
