The Springfield Police Department has made an arrest reference the homicide that occurred at Chickadee and Roadrunner Court on Monday.
22 year old Valencia Phillips of Springfield, was arrested at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Monday
Phillips was arrested for first degree murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and aggravated Unlawful use of a weapon. Formal charges are forthcoming from Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s Office.
