Here’s an update on the house explosion overnight.
Springfield fire chief Brandon Blough says crews were called to 2513 Sandgate around 9 p.m. Tuesday. The explosion significantly damaged homes on either side and sent debris a half block in all directions. Neighbors told the fire department the person who lives in the home is out of town.
No injuries are reported.
