If you are getting your property ready for the spring season you’ll want to know beginning today city residents can drop off their yard waste bags at Evans Recycling free of charge.
The free drop is available until Saturday, April 30.
After that date, the fee will be $1 per bag.
Evans is located at 2100 J. David Jones Parkway.
Drop off is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:00 a.m. – 12-noon.
The city says residents may also want to consider “Grass-cycling” which is mulching your leaves and grass when you maintain your lawns.
