The Memorial Health Golf Championship, the official rounds of which tee off on July 14th at Panther Creek Country Country Club, is a driver for commerce in Springfield.

Scott Dahl, Director of the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, says he hopes the local travel industry in 2022 will top a half billion dollars. The golf tournament, which has been a stop along the way for many top pros, is part of that.

“Coming out of the pandemic, workforce is going to be the driver in our ability to fulfill mission and meet patient demands,” said Memorial Health CEO Ed Curtis (pictured). “This is just a piece of the way we build a stronger community.”

This year, add the Ladies Pro-Am to the mix, which will happen July 11th – 13th, also at Panther Creek.
