More information on the two men arrested after police saw them shooting guns in the 1200 block of East South Grand Ave..
Tuesday afternoon around 2 officers were investigating shots fired and saw the two men run into a house. The pair were arrested and a search warrant led to the recovery of two guns, a .357 revolver and Ruger 9mm semi-automatic.
The Ruger was reported stolen during a burglary in Missouri where 60 additional firearms were taken.
35 year old Otis Tyson and 32 year old Dearius Brewer, both of Springfield are charged with a variety of crimes and are currently in Sangamon County Jail each with a $750,000 bond.
