The Sangamon County Coroner has identified the shooting victim who died at HSHS St. John’s Hospital around 8pm last night.
Results from an autopsy conducted today (Wed) indicate 25 year old Jayvon Watson of Springfield died from multiple gunshot wounds after he was brought to the ER
following a shooting at Seven Brothers Grocery at Eleventh and Laurel Streets.
The death is being investigated as a homicide.
