Due to the National Weather Service’s heat advisory, the Tuesday, June 21, Municipal Band Concert at Duncan Park is cancelled. The band’s next performance at the Duncan Park Bandshell is Tuesday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m..
Residents and visitors are still able to hear the Municipal Band perform this week as part of the City of Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau History Comes Alive program.
The Muni Band will perform on Friday, June 24 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Edwards Place Ice Cream Social.
The Edwards Place is located at 700 N. 4th Street on the campus of the Springfield Art Association. The band will also play at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum on Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m..
The museum is located at the corner of Sixth Street and Jefferson.
