It was a busy weekend for Springfield Police with nine weapons arrests.   Seven adults and two juveniles, all from Peoria, were arrested between Saturday and early Sunday morning.  Six firearms were recovered.

Of the seven adults arrested, six have a history of prior felony arrests.  Two male juveniles were arrested for multiple weapons offenses along with one of the juveniles having an active arrest warrant for a parole violation.

Arrests include:

Quintez L. Johnson, male 31 years old- arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon

Deandre M. Blocker Jr, male 28 years old-arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm- No FOID

Davonte A. Hanson, male 22 years old- arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm-No FOID

Tyler S. Allison, male 29 years old- arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm-No FOID

Bennie L. Johnson Jr., male 34 years old- arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm-No FOID

Kelvin Patterson Jr., male 37 years old- arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm-No FOID

Cornelius S. Wilson, male 35 years old- arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm-No FOID

The two male juveniles were arrested for multiple weapons offenses along with one of the juveniles having an active arrest warrant for a parole violation.
