An early Sunday morning shooting sent two to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Around 2 a.m., officers responded to a report that two people had been shot while sitting in a vehicle in the 1800 block of S. 19th St.
A 20-year-old man had been shot in the arm and lower back and a 19-year-old woman had been shot in the leg. Both were transported to HSHS St. John’s Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The case remains under investigation.
