A Chatham man is accused of shooting a handgun into the air in Springfield on Christmas Eve. striking nothing. But the Sangamon County sheriff’s department says deputies found seventeen shell casings in the area of South Lowell and West Maple South.
The sheriff says Ramon Wilson, 23, was on parole and has a record of numerous charges, and now he is accused of reckless discharge and possession of a firearm by a felon. The sheriff says Wilson was arrested this week.
