A 19-year-old Springfield woman died Friday morning after being hit by a train Thursday.
Sangamon County Coroner Cinda Edwards says the victim, Jennifer Fry, was pronounced dead at 3:32 this morning at Memorial Medical Center, almost twelve hours after the collision at Tenth and Laurel in Springfield.
City police are investigating. Officials said Thursday it was not clear whether it was an accident.
