Getting around downtown for much of the day Saturday will be challenging. Streets will be blocked beginning around 9am to set-up the parade route.
The parade begins in the Horace Mann parking lot at noon and from there heads west on Jefferson to Fifth Street, turns south on 5th to Capitol and then to 6th where it returns north. The 6th Street portion of the parade will be the Family Friendly Area.
Bus traffic will be affected as well. The transfer center will be moved to 5th between Jackson and Cook.
