Lower testosterone levels in men could be linked to an earlier death, a recent study found. A team from the University of Western Australia examined the results of 11 studies and found that over the course of five years, men with lower levels of the hormone were more likely to pass away. However, it’s unclear if chronic disease is causing lower testosterone levels, or the other way around. Erectile dysfunction, for example, could be a symptom of an underlying heart condition. Testosterone levels usually decline by 1% every year after a man turns 30. Men can help boost their testosterone levels with a healthy lifestyle and replacement therapies. (Study Finds)
