A Menard County man has been sentenced to three years in prison for covering up a murder in Sweetwater.
Our news partners at WAND-TV report Charles Brackhan, 39, shot and killed Aaron Fehl, 20, last March. Brackhan told investigators Fehl was trying to steal marijuana plants Brackhan was growing on his property.
He moved Fehl’s body so police wouldn’t find his marijuana growing operation. Brackhan still faces federal gun and drug charges.
