How it all started (radio)
It all started with hearing an ad on the radio for a newscaster. Although I had no prior experience with radio, I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. So I sent my resume over and had an interview lined up the same week! Thankfully things went well and I got the job.
How it’s going
It’s going really well so far. Still learning, but giving it my best at every task I’m given and I think I’ve grown a lot since I started.
My favorite local hobby
My favorite local hobby is bike riding. The Sangamon bike trail is my favorite. I love to go there and clear my head.
My favorite local event
My favorite local event is the State Fair. I can’t get enough of those mini donuts and the rides are always fun too.
My family
My parents are the best parents a girl could ask for. My dad was born here in Springfield and my mom is from Mexico. I have 5 siblings 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I also have 5 cats and 1 ferret.
Where I came from
I was born in Arizona, but my parents moved back to Springfield when I was about a year old, so Springfield is home.
My hidden talent or claim to fame
I am also a singer/songwriter and have a band with 2 of my siblings called LittleRain. We have released 3 albums and are currently working on our 4th!
