Dozens of motorcycles as well as pick-ups, SUVs, Jeeps and vehicles of every description took part in the 10th annual RIDE IN HONOR on Sunday.
The procession visits various local veterans memorials for wreath laying ceremonies including Camp Butler, Sherman Memorial, Oak Ridge Cemetary and New Berlin Memorial.
The event is sponsored by Staab Funeral Home and PJ Staab himself rode his motorcycle in the ride.
The event was led by the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Hearse which is a popular sight at such events.
VFW 755 Commander Josh Seed said events such as these raise much needed funds for veterans but also allow veterans a chance to meet and interact with others who served and may have face challenges similar to ones other veterans may be facing now.
This year funds raised will support Spring St. Veterans Renaissance.
