Wednesday morning the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office DIRT Team executed a search warrant in the 200 block of North English Avenue in Springfield.
The warrant was obtained after detectives with learned that the resident, 40 year old Michael A. Johnson, was selling Methamphetamine at the residence.
Detectives seized approximately 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine, several digital weighing scales, and other items used for drug packaging.
Also located at the residence was 18 year old Bryce McKean-Meyer of Springfield who attempted to run from the residence when police arrived.
Meyer was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Johnson was charged with three counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Both men were arrested and transported to the Sangamon County Jail
