There’s a new candidate this morning for Ward 5 alderman.
It’s Dominic Elijah Watson, who attended Ursuline and Benedictine and says the city has to make changes to stay attractive to families who would otherwise live in Chatham, Rochester, or Sherman. He says he’s for safe neighborhoods and good schools. He works as a legislative assistant to State Sen. Andy Manar and would run against incumbent Sam Cahnman.
