HP Hood LLC is voluntarily recalling a limited number of half-gallon cartons of refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk, because the product may contain milk.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.
The product is safe to consume unless you have a milk allergy or sensitivity.
There has been one reported allergic reaction to the product.
More than 145,000 half-gallon cartons of the affected product were shipped to retailers and wholesalers in Illinois and 27 other states. Here is the complete list : AL, AR, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI.
The recall only applies to the following product: refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk with a use-by date of September 2, 2018.
