Goodwill officials in Alton say they are trying to determine who may have left $2,350 in the pocket of clothing donated to the organization recently. The organization will either thank the person for purposely leaving the money as a donation, or right a possible accidental drop-off.
A Goodwill employee found the cash and a deposit slip while processing a clothing donation last week. They’ll give the owner thirty days before keeping it.
