SPRINGFIELD – Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation officials announce the arrest of 31-year-old Kyle Cummings, of Arenzvillle  for Possession of Child Pornography.

On May 2nd , 2023, ISP DCI Zone 4 Agents initiated an investigation after learning the man was possessing child pornography on an online platform. During the investigation, ISP Investigators assigned to the Office of the Illinois Attorney General Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Force gathered digital evidence indicating that Cummings was possessing child pornography from his residence in Cass County.

On ­­­­­­­­­­­November 13, the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office charged Cummings with 7 counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 2 Felony) and issued an arrest warrant. On November 20, Cummings turned himself in at the Morgan County Jail. Cummings will be held at the Morgan County Jail pending a detention hearing in Cass County.
