Busts are springing out all over as several combined law enforcement agencies swooped down on Meth dealers throught Montgomery County in what is being called Operation REAL
Last night the Montgomery County State Attorney’s Office, Illinois Drug Task Force and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office began the sweep.
Arrest warrants were obtained for 8 people on charges related to the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine.
Several of the individuals were found in possession of methamphetamine when they were taken into custody and additional charges are pending.
In addition to the methamphetamine a suspected marijuana indoor grow operation was located and seized at a residence.
Authorities say this was the first stage of Operation REAL. Additional arrest warrants are being sought for several individuals for the delivery of meth and they say, more arrests WILL occur.
