Yesterday around 9am the Christian County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a dead man laying near the railroad tracks located at East Rd. in Pana.
Christian County Deputies, along with officers of the Pana Police Department responded to the called and discovered a man believe to be in his 20’s. An investigation into the cause of death is being conducted by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies
Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp says no foul play is suspected at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday. The name of the deceased is not being released until family members have been notified.
