Illinois gubernatorial candidate Kirk Dillard paid $76,000 in state and federal taxes in 2012 on $353,785 in income.
Dillard’s tax returns show his income comes from his legislative salary as a state senator and his role as a partner in his Chicago law firm. Dillard also reported 52 dollars in lottery winnings last year.
Two other GOP gubernatorial bidders, venture capitalist Bruce Rauner (ROW’-nur) and Bloomington businessman Bill Brady, have also released tax return information in recent weeks.
