This morning around 6 the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office D.I.R.T. executed a search warrant at the home of 33 year old Contavious Kidd of Springfield.
The warrant was obtained after numerous controlled buys of heroin and methamphetamine were made from Kidd.
During the search of the residence, detectives discovered approximately 10 grams of suspected heroin, 6.6 grams suspected methamphetamine, 2.5 grams an unknown substance, $665.00 USC, 21 suspected hydrocodone pills and a stolen 9 mm pistol (Reported stolen out of Missouri).
Kidd faces four counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance 0-10 grams, one count of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance 15-100 grams, possession of heroin 10 grams, possession of methamphetamine 6.6 grams, possession of a weapon by felon and possession of a stolen firearm.
Kidd was taken into custody and is currently housed in the Sangamon County Jail.
