A nonprofit group that’s funding a nationwide campaign to inform the public about President Barack Obama’s health law has hired organizers in Springfield.
Enroll America announced this week that an enrollment workshop Sunday at the Springfield Urban League will kick off the group’s “Get Covered America” campaign in central Illinois.
The group also is organizing events Sunday in south suburban Chicago and Peoria. The Chicago area event combines a workout with a fitness trainer with information on new health insurance options under the national law.
