Four teenagers were arrested after what was to be the sale of a computer turned into an armed robbery. When the seller of a computer advertised on Facebook Marketplace arrived at the arranged location in the 1100 block of East Spruce Street Monday afternoon, multiple teenage boys approached the victim and robbed him at gunpoint, according to Springfield Police.

Based on information from the victim, a search warrant was issued, and two BB guns were recovered. The suspects, from 14 to 16 years old, were arrested and met the criteria for confinement at a juvenile detention center. However, police were advised there were no juvenile centers in the state with room for the teens, and they were released to family members.
