An arrest has been made in connection with a newborn child found alive in a Jacksonville dumpster last weekend.
Police tell WLDS radio a 17 year old girl has been arrested and charged with child endangerment, but no other information was immediately available.
The baby was found early Sunday morning in the 300 block of West Lafeyette and is said to be doing fine.
