The Illinois Republican Party has picked their new chairman. Members appointed Tim Schneider to succeed Jack Dorgan, who was named as co-chairman of Bruce Rauner’s Finance Committee earlier in the week.

Small businessman Schneider from Bartlett, Illinois, says small businesses and families are leaving our state, and that Illinois needs a change. He says Republicans are the ones who will deliver it.

Schneider had been a Trustee and Highway Commissioner for Hanover Township and represented the 15th District on the Cook County Board of Commissioners for the last 7 years. He promises to expand the Republican party in Illinois both before and after Election Day.
