The Ball-Chatham School District is going into the fourth quarter in its battle over its football field.
District officials say its game this Friday night versus Lanphier has to be moved to Glenwood Middle School from the high school because of a grub infestation.
Officials say the field is being repaired, but won’t be ready for Friday. Advance tickets are being sold. Gates will open Friday night at 6, and both the middle school and intermediate school will have parking available.
Grubs are the larvae form of beetles.
