A March For Our Lives Against Gun Violence Rally will be held Saturday from 11AM til noon, at the Lincoln Statue, Illinois State Capitol at Second Street and Capitol Avenue.
March For Our Lives Rallies are being held across the United States on June 11th in response to the incidents of gun violence in our nation.
The rally will feature speakers who will discuss gun violence statistics, prevention, trauma, and a call for action.
Participants are encouraged to wear red to represent the bloodshed in our nation, and to bring rally signs.
The March For Our Lives Rally is hosted by the Resistor Sisterhood, a Springfield-based activism group.
