This week Crime Stoppers wants your help in solving a home invasion that happened in the 1800 block of S 7th St the evening of November 12th.

Two men broke into the residence around 7:30 and held the occupants of the home at gun point. The suspects took an array of items including firearms, $3800 in currency, shoes, clothes, electronics and identifying documents.

Home invasion is Crime of the Week

An early morning home invasion in Auburn is the subject of the Sangamon Menard County Crime of The Week. In the pre-dawn hours of October 21st a
female homeowner and her two children were awakened by the sound of someone prying on the back door of their residence. Four subjects gained access to the home
and threatened to shoot the woman. After demanding money as well as her car keys the subjects fled in the stolen car taking the family’s television
as well as other electronic devices.
