Residents in Ward 10 will again be represented on the Springfield City Council.
Jim McDonough will finish out former Alderman Tim Griffin’s term. McDonough had entertained the idea of running the for the position on a permanent basis.
“For family and career reasons I decided I wouldn’t be able to dedicate as much time as I would want,” says McDonough. “I’m still interested in city issues and this is my home.”
Griffin will be the new City Council Coordinator following the retirement of Joe Davis next month. McDonough is currently a Commercial Accounts Executive for T.J. Nicoud insurance company.
