The Citizens Club of Springfield is sponsoring a two-part series focusing on Immigration and its effect on the Springfield area.
The first presentation was entitled SPRINGFIELD’S IMMIGRANTS STORIES. 5 people who came to American from foreign shores and decided to make a permanent home here shared their American dreams with around 200 people gathered at the Dove Conference Center in the Prairie Heart Institute Thursday evening.
The next program will be Thursday evening Feb. 15 at the Dove Center and is entitled BUILDING A MORE VIBRANT SPRINGFIELD.
The programs are free and open to the public.
