Springfield-area home sales dipped slightly in July after flirting with record territory in June.
The Capital Area Association of Realtors says home sales fell 13.5 percent in July when compared with July of last year. Sales are still up slightly for the year compared to where they were for this time last year. Foreclosures continue to leave the market as well.
The median sale price of a Springfield area home so far this year is $116,000, which is up 2.5 percent percent from last year at this point.
