Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp is praising “community policing” efforts in catching a teenager who damaged a handful of mailboxes.
Kettlekamp says a Morrisonville resident heard a loud noise late at night and saw a dark colored pickup, driven by Jacob Fahl, 19, had damaged his mailbox and trash containers. The resident followed the truck and got a license plate number, which he gave to police.
Kettlekamp praises the resident, calling his following of Fahl a prime example of how police and the community can work together. Fahl was released after posting bond.
