More details have emerged surrounding the arrest of the mayor of Kincaid in central Illinois.

Douglas Thomas was arrested Thursday on suspicion of violating an order of protection for the second time in recent weeks. According to Christian County Court documents, the 18-year-old ex-boyfriend accused Thomas of trying to hit him with his car. Based on the claim, a protection order was granted February 10th.
