Amid great fanfare the Kroger grocery store in Taylorville re-opened this morning.
Local shoppers say they were very happy to see the return of an important part of the Taylorville community.
The Kroger was shut down in July when asbestos was discovered during renovations.
Officials says the structure is now clear of any asbestos contamination and can re-open to the public.
