Early voting begins today in Sangamon County.
Sangamon County Clerk, Don Grey, says any registered voter can go to the downtown County Building, County Clerks Office, Room 101. They wil be required to provide proof of identity. They will then be given a paper ballot and directed to a voting station. Their ballot will be counted will all ballots following the Nov. 8th general election.
Grey says voters can still sign up for permanent Vote By Mail and may do so right up until the Thursday before the election.
